End of travel

When I finally got to the end of a travel, there emerge a kind feeling of in-between. Not only the place and spatial dimension like crossing the national border, but also accompanying the cultural part: exotic food, traveling interaction, foreign life details even the styles of greeting.

This morning after my household practice’d been done, I turned on cable TV and rest my eyes on Discovery Channel: Travel and Living. It was showing BRAVO TV‘s program: “Queer Eye for the straight guy”(Episode 120: Meeting Mildred: Dinner is Served). And after that, “Planet Food” program visits India, learning about India food across 5 different cities of India.

In the former program, the changing of life styles made me think of my travel and the difference between abroad and at home. When the later showed, I found myself longing travel in India with the knowledge of Indian breads: roti, dosa and pappad…, etc. The tiffin box (Dabbawala) delivery industry in India, and you would like to know about the vocabulary of Indian food, and Indian food glossary. These information are helpful when I want to spell “biryani” correctly.

This kind of in-between reminds me that, I am finally home.

Where Am I?
